For Jim Golke, there hasn't been any other path. His father, uncles, brothers and a son all work, or have worked, in the metal roofing industry. It all started over 70 years ago when Jim's father and uncle worked for, then bought, the Sheridan Roofing Company. That company ended up splitting up in to a number of smaller family owned roofing companies, a heritage that continues today with Jim and his brother.
